I have very dry, coarse hair; damaged by many years of chemical hair color and perms. After using this product twice, my hair was soft, easy to style and the texture felt normal for the first time in 20 years! Pureology has the best deep conditioning product on the market today!

I
don't color my hair, but it
is
bleached out from the sun and
broken by the wind, which
might as well be the same
thing. I have been using the
Hydrate line by Pureology
since 2003 and cannot, I
repeat, CANNOT, substitute
another conditioner. Even
the
most
hydrating versions of Dove,
Bumble and Bumble or Paul
Mitchell can't do what this
little purple bottle does to
repair my hair. I am in the
water 3 days a week, and with
hair that reaches my bikini
bottoms, my ends look more
like straw than hair. I take
a travel bottle with me to
the
beach and the boat to keep
the ends hydrated and I avoid
the scarecrow look. I've even
got my 56 year old father
(who
has grown his thin gray hair
out past his shoulders) using
Pureology Hydrate. Now when
he's not surfing, he doesn't
LOOK like a surf bum with
straggly hair, he looks
polished and clean, like a
dad
should. We're a
family with an addiction to
Pureology, and the hydrate
line is our MUST HAVE on a
surf trip.
I was staying at my sister's
house when I first tried
Pureology Hydrating Shampoo
and Conditioner and I was
hooked. My wavy hair had
never been so smooth and
there
was very little frizz on my
always frizzy hair. I had to
buy it, and, now, I sometimes
leave the conditioner in my
hair, let it air dry and the
curl is amazing (almost
Victorias Secret super model
style that I've never even
gotten close to before with
any other conditioner).
Pureology hydrate conditioner
feels very tingly and warm
when you rub it into your
scalp. I find it makes my
hair feel soft and squeaky
slick. It helps keep my hair
feeling soft and noncoarse.
My color keeps it's original
color quality for an extended
period of time - saves me
money!
I've tried this hand-in-hand
with the company's Hydrating
Shampoo, and I can't say for
sure if it's the shampoo, this
conditioner, or a synergistic
effect of using both that
makes my hair silky and much
less frizzy. While it's
expensive, a little goes a
long way, as my hairdresser
told me to rub a bit in my
hands, apply it to the ends of
my hair, then work it up into
the roots.
I tried this product with
high hopes that it would be a
different and effective
product for my hair. I liked
the concept of all natural
ingredients and the price
indicated a high quality
product. I have fine, wavy dry
hair. I used it as instructed
several times, but
unfortunately it left my hair
even more dry and lifeless
than before. Although the
product was unique - you could
smell the fresh lavender they
used as an ingredient - it
smelled unpleasant overall and
simply did not work as
promised.
I have thick, curly, dry hair
and have tried just about
everything out there and found
nothing until this. I LOVE
this product!!! It really
works. My hair is no longer
dry and my curls hang
beautiful!!!
