Works alright - but so do other, cheaper products Nov 05, 2007

I have tried MANY hair-care
products out there, so I am
fairly knowledgeable about all
the different volume-adding,
body-building, and/or
thickening styling goods
available on the market.
My hair is super-fine &
super-thin, and I don't have
much of it. I am always on the
lookout for that next
"must-have" product.
Unfortunately this was not one
of my better finds. It didn't
hurt my hair, or make it worse
off; it just didn't really do
anything except maybe make it
a bit shinier. No added volume
or lift though. |

Does add volume! Nov 05, 2007

So, having had tried a million
products for my thin,
baby-fine hair, I can
personally say it is one of
the best products I've ever
tried.
The downside is that you must
use a lot to get the desired
thickness (or at least I know
I have to b/c I have so little
hair), so you might go through
it rather quickly.
Other than that, it works and
it is marvelous. Some other
products add volume by making
hair dull and greasy. THIS ONE
DOES JUST THE OPPOSITE! My
hair remained shiny, thick,
and stayed put (but still
looked natural.)
HOORAY FOR PRODUCTS THAT
ACTUALLY WORK! |

Sub-par product...no where near "salon" quality! Nov 05, 2007

In my endless quest for
thicker, livelier hair I opted
for a body wave a while back.
I got a perm instead, which
was awful, but because my hair
is SO incredibly thin, the
tight "poodle" curls turned
into loose waves soon
enough.
I started using product that
would bring out the curliness
and body in those waves, and
actually found a Loreal
product that worked
wonders.
But because I'm a hair product
junky, I wanted to try out
"salon-quality" products that
I figured would work even
better because they cost so
much more...BIG mistake. It
made my hair sticky, dull, and
lifeless PLUS made no impact
on my curls.
The bottom line? SAVE YOUR
MONEY! |

Good product... Nov 05, 2007

I am the poster girl for
volumizing/thickening/body-bui
lding hair products, and have
spent tons of money trying to
find my "new favorite
product". This one worked very
nicely, especially for the
first couple of weeks, on my
baby-fine, thin hair. FYI: You
might have to use a LOT of it
if you want thickness all
over, and not just at the
roots.
Oddly enough, it doesn't work
it's magic anymore for
me...it's like my hair became
used to it, or something. But
at the beginning, it worked
quite well. |
