So this isn't currently the name of the product, but the product is still there and it is fantastic. It protects my red hair from all the chlorine, or at least from major damage from the chlorine. the only thing that I feel weird about is that because of the consistency, sparkles, and such I can't coat all of my hair (that would look lyk thick gel in my hair and just UCK) so I feel like some of my hair isn't getting covered enough. But hey it works, give it a try. I definitely recommend this product, but Redken should definitely consider removing all those sparkles!

I have course, thick curly hair and was sorely disappointed by this product. Upon first glance I thought well, it's made by Redken which is good, and has the word butter in it. I thought this would soften my hair and moisturize it. Often times I leave conditioners in my hair over night with a shower cap, I did that method with this conditioner, and when I woke up, my hair was not all silky and did not feel smooth and buttery like I thought it would. It felt coarse and not godd. Using a costco conditioner, or herbal essence would have left me with silkier hair. Also since it contained silicones later on I had to wash my hair...which left it in even worse condition. Not so great - I do not recommend it; however, that may have happened just because of my hair type.

First of this conditioner smells fantastic! But what you've got to realize is this is not so much a moisturizing conditioner as a protein/vitamin... type conditioner. When I realized this I began to use it about once a week, not really as a deep conditioner, but just to add strength and such to my hair. It works great when used for that purpose. The consistency if fabulous as well, it is also curly girl approved! The down side: it gets expensive to use everyday, and is not THAT moisturizing. But when used occasionally it can be a beautiful supplement to your hair routine. I definitely recommend this product and will continue to buy it.

This stuff is simply AMAZING! It protects your hair from the heat, helps in from not turning to hay, and even seems to make my hair curlier! If you couple this with a diffuser you have a safe way to quickly dry your hair beautifully! Just spritz a little on before you blowdry w/diffuser. Make sure your hair is not dripping wet though as that will just make your hair frizz. I will definitely buy this again when I run out (also a plus...you don't have you use much so lasts for a LONG time) even though it is slightly expensive. If your curls can't survive blowdrying without frizzing out, growing into a mushroom, and deforming your curls...use this! Bonus - smells fantastic too!

Great but has silicones Jun 26, 2009

This conditioner is absolutely fabulous. The only down side is that it has silicones. It conditions beautifully, but because of the silicones it will (in due time) build up if you do not use shampoo. If you are someone who frequently uses shampoo, go for it! If not, then this one is not for you. The smell is also fabulous like all of those that TIGI makes, and definitely the strongest one i have tried!
