I have used this product for a year, and I have never found a better shampoo! It cleans beautifully, leaves no buildup, even after months of use, and it smells wonderful. The fragrance is light, sort of spicy-floral. It also lasts a long time, because I only have to use a small dab to wash my hair. I am turned off by the extremely high price of this product, though. I think that $30 or more for an 8-ounce bottle is way too much. The conditioner costs that much also, so these products are prohibitively expensive for many people. Every time check the pricing for Alterna Caviar Shampoo and Conditioner, it just keeps going higher, which I do not understand, given its rising popularity and availability.
