Depends on type of hair... Aug 09, 2008

I tried this product for a three week period and did not see any results for my hair. I do have lots of thick hair that tends to frizz up with all of the FL humidity, so maybe that was the case. My mother, on the other hand, loves this product. She has fine wavy/curly hair that is very short. She applies a pea size amount to damp hair and loves how the product keeps her hair looking smooth all day long. So, I would say if you have fine hair that is slightly frizzy, then this is the product for you! If not, you might want to consider other options.

Flat iron protection! Aug 09, 2008

Well, I am a bit surprised that no one has reviewed this product yet! The CHI 44 Iron Guard is one of the best heat protection products out there! I have tried other heat guard products, but they left my hair looking very oily. The CHI 44 however is a light spray with strong protection. I used to flat iron my hair every single day and this is what protected my hair for so long. Without heat protection, the hair strands are subject to dryness and breakage. Also, I only recommend using the CHI 44 on dry hair. I divide my hair into sections, spritz it with the iron guard, and then flat iron it. It doesn't weigh your hair down, so you can style your afterwards with other products too!

I started using Redken's anti-snap a couple of weeks ago and I already see a change! Up until a month ago, I flat ironed my hair (which is about three inches down my back) /every/ day- sometimes when it was still wet. As a result, my thick, coarse hair had a lot of breakage and is very dull. To top that off, 7 weeks ago I had it colored for the first time. It was about three weeks ago when I decided that I had had enough of dry, ugly hair and I started to change everything from how frequently I washed my hair to my diet. Redken's anti-snap has been a key element to my new routine. It is a pearlish color with a pleasant scent, and it goes on smoothly. I apply a dime sized amount to the top layer of hair while it is damp and gently smooth it. Throughout the day, it moisturizes my hair and has significantly reduced the amount of visible breakage. After all these years, I am pleased to see silky hair coming back!
